About me:
I have been quilting for around 20 years, and when I first started I was terrible! There were no YouTube videos, or Facetime back then, & I didn't know anyone near me with any sewing skills, but since I studied art in college and worked as a floral designer, I always had a knack for design & creativity and working with color, so I was determined to learn!!
I got my first sewing machine when I moved to Texas in 2002, at the time I was struggling to overcome a history of abusive relationships from my teens, and I needed something to focus my mind on.... quilting definitely became my therapy! Everything I know has been through trial and error, since I am all self taught it took me a really long time to consider myself good. I started out with a small Brother sewing machine, a pair of scissors and cardboard rulers, and now I find myself surrounded by industry experts, fancy equipment and shiny new rotary blades, it is a dream come true to walk into my studio daily! I never take anything for granted, and I appreciate every dollar I make because there were times I didn't have any, please know that each client I work with is a friend, and I will never judge you skills and I won't even notice your points. I have people ask me all the time if I quilt for "regular people" and the answer is absolutely! I do quilt for The Fat Quarter Shop, and several industry designers for their new books and patterns, but I love ALL my quilty friends and I hope you will mail me your next quilt!!

Looking for a speaker at your next Quilt Club or Guild meeting?
I would love to come visit, we can talk about my quilt journey, share a trunk show of fun things I have made, offer free patterns, talk about colors and fabrics, and of course do a demonstration on my new binding rulers! We can schedule a hands-on class to make my new Teddy Tell & Bunny Tell patterns or even make T-Shirt Quilts together. Or maybe you would rather talk about longarm quilting, I am super flexible and would love to teach your group something new!!
