Woven Hearts Sew Along Benefiting Breast cancer research

I'm joining the Fat Quarter Shop for a sew along that is super special to me, and I hope you will join me too! The Woven Hearts Sew Along will kick off this October 1st - November 19th so make sure you save the date! Let's join together as we highlight the importance of community and support for those facing the life-changing diagnosis of breast cancer.

The Woven Hearts Quilt measures 70.5″ square and is designed using the Woven Star Foundation Paper Pads. I made my quilt with the Dainty Meadow collection by My Sew Quilty Life for Moda Fabrics! You can purchase the Woven Hearts Quilt Kit and Backing Set to make one like mine, or you can download the free pattern if you would like to sew with fabrics in your stash. The Woven Hearts Sew Along Supplies Page has all the supplies you need.

I got to make the quilt featured above and then my boys and I took pictures at the beach after I finished the hand binding, I'm so thrilled to be able to donate it to help raise money.  Fat Quarter Shop will auction my quilt above in October to one lucky bidder, and 100% of the proceeds from the auction will go to BCRF.  Please follow me on social media so you don't miss the coming soon info about the auction, and mark your calendars for the sew along!

I have been working with Fat Quarter Shop for over 10 years now and I am honored to team up with them for this years quilt.  Since 2021, Fat Quarter Shop has donated more than $45,000 to breast cancer charities with the support of the generous quilting community. This year, the fundraising goal is $10,000 for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). This amazing charity is responsible for discovering the BRCA genes and they fund scientists who’ve made numerous breakthroughs in the treatment and prevention of breast cancer. For people everywhere, more wins against cancer can’t come fast enough, and we’re proud to join the fight!!
